Fighting child rape and abuse is, tragically, a given in this work, and we take an intentional and holistic approach.
In responding to these cases, we have become aware of massive failures in the system which is meant to protect the victims and see justice.
Our approach focuses not only on working for justice in individual cases, but also supporting the victim, preventing initiatives (such as developing assertiveness in children and women, as well as educating the boys and men) and broader justice advocacy.
Strengthen and support individuals and communities in fighting child rape and abuse through response, prevention and justice at an individual and national level.
Watch this videoclip to see the march which was part of our Fight Child Rape campaign. The result of this campaign: a rapist was re-arrested, a magistrate was removed and child rape processes and approaches are more under the spotlight.
